Coping with the Holidays

Community Hospice is hosting a free community workshop–Living with Grief During the Holidays

Our featured speaker, Andy McNiel, MA, of the Satori Group in Florida, is a highly experienced grief support professional. McNeil will share information about the impact grief has on our lives and navigate the many challenges grief brings to the holiday season.

Participants will explore ideas for finding meaning even in the midst of grief and loss and share ideas for developing a plan to cope with grief while also celebrating with family and friends.

The program will close with reflection and a healing candle lighting ceremony. You are welcome to bring a framed picture of your loved one or special memento to be placed on our remembrance table. This workshop is designed for the whole family. A youth presentation on remembering and honoring your loved one will be given by our youth Grief Specialists.
